How to Create a Professional Invoice in 5 Steps
The invoice generator is organized into five tabs. Work through them in order, then download your finished invoice as a PDF.
Invoice Details
Set your invoice number, date, due date, currency (including KES, USD, CAD, GBP, EUR and 10+ others), and status. Upload your business logo — it gets embedded directly into the PDF.
From & To
Enter your business name, address, email, phone, and tax/PIN/VAT number. Then fill in your client’s billing details. Both appear on the final invoice exactly as entered.
Line Items
Add each service or product as a line item with description, quantity, rate, and an optional per-line tax percentage. The subtotal, tax, discount, and grand total calculate instantly and automatically.
Settings & Notes
Set payment terms (Net 30, Due on Receipt, etc.), add your bank or M-Pesa payment details, write a thank-you note to your client, and add any footer text such as late payment terms.
Preview & Download
Click the Preview tab to see your finished invoice exactly as it will print. When you’re happy, click Download PDF — your browser’s print dialog opens. Select “Save as PDF” to save the file to your device.
